Arts and sciences to discuss the origin of the universe

Space Within Us - 2022

When we look up at the night sky and observe the stars, the question of our place in the universe naturally arises. Throughout history, civilizations have projected their beliefs and knowledge onto the map of the sky. Today, what do we know about the universe?

To set the body and mind in motion

Dance and debates - 2021

If some young people turn to delinquency or radicalization, it's also because they need to feel useful and involved in some way, within a group. This is why the program offered insights and activities that challenged them to consider their place, their understanding of the world, and their sense of belonging.

We therefore combined, in an original and unprecedented way: debates of ideas, dance and surfing, three disciplines requiring different levels of skill:

- The debate, to call upon their analytical and listening skills

- Dance, to develop their creativity and freedom

- Surfing, a sporting activity, to connect them to their bodies and the environment

Goals :

• Promote openness

• Spark curiosity

• Showcasing one of the most beautiful sites in France: the wild Landes coast

• To have new practices

• To provide knowledge

• To awaken critical thinking

• Checking in on young people after the lockdown periods

• Take the “crisis of truth” seriously, help young people find their way in the

contradictory information and an atmosphere of rejection of everything or polarization

extreme opinions

• Provide historical context

• To fight against all forms of discrimination (religious, sexist, etc.)

• Activate citizenship

• Thinking about alternatives for tomorrow

Surfing, balance & health - 2023

Mental, social and physical health

In 2023, the "Surf, Balance and Health" retreat took place, with the main theme being mental, social and physical health . We started from the conviction that taking care of one's body, mind and emotions is a commitment with positive repercussions on the individual as well as on the society in which they live.

The stay offered insights and activities that questioned their state of health, their relationship to the body, to effort, but also their diet and their connection with nature and living things.
