The heart balance
Gender and ways of loving
The Heart Balance is an initiatory day exploring the different conceptions of love. A primary source of inspiration for artists, love permeates songs, films, and literature: fleeting love, enduring love, polyamory, tough love, or platonic love…
These artistic representations illustrate as much as they influence our romantic relationships.
On the other hand, our social and family education, as men and as women, shapes different expectations and attitudes.
For one day, using the artistic and educational tools of music, philosophy, and sociology, as well as each participant's own experiences, we will explore love as a concept and love as a practice. We will pay particular attention to respect and equality between individuals, especially through the lens of gender, in intimate relationships.
With Simone de Beauvoir and Diam's, Virginia Woolf and Jacques Brel, or even Plato and Orelsan, we offer young and old alike a one-day journey into love.
"Young lady looking for a killer guy, a guy who could make me feel like I can fly, a loyal guy who isn't afraid to be loved, so if you fit the bill babe, leave me your email."
Diam's
"Of course we had our storms, twenty years of love is mad love."
A thousand times you packed your bags, a thousand times I took flight.
Jacques Brel
"I'm going back home to marry four old hags who obey me."
Booba
"Take out the stolen motocross bike, don't undress or I'll rape you."

“Nothing is ever truly possessed by man, not even his strength.”
Neither his weakness, nor his heart. And when he believes
